We offer several programs to help manufacturers and suppliers improve quality and reduce warranty costs. We can analyze the data for you and provide the needed information to identify root cause and make effective engineering changes. In addition, we can work with your team to teach you how to utilize warranty information as part of your ongoing quality system.

Issue Specific Reports
Warranty Information Systems
Warranty Analysis
Warranty Training

These reports are very popular among our supplier clients because they provide a multifaceted look at the issue and provide several types of analysis to help resolve the issue. Standard analysis includes issue history, system history, geographic analysis, dealer analysis, P/N analysis, time to failure and mileage to failure as well as several other areas. By providing all information at one time trends and deviations become immediately visible.

Our warranty systems are designed to provide a standardized system for disseminating the necessary warranty information to the important parties on a continual basis. This information is consistent from one month to the next allowing for easy analysis and comparison between reports. But beyond delivering the same report month after month we work to ensure that each party understands the information they are receiving and that the information is in a format that benefits them. Therefore, our standard warranty packages often include multiple levels of detail for the same information. This allows management to receive an “executive overview” or snapshot while providing the working level engineer the detail needed to solve the problem. These systems take an aggressive stand toward solving problems and reducing warranty yet they are simple enough to be used by your entire team.

Our warranty analysis service can provide that extra muscle or the set of fresh-eyes needed to see the problem from a different angle and provide the information necessary for problem resolution. We have developed several methods for performing warranty analysis that go far beyond the traditional methods of data delivery. These tools allow us to move the data farther and deliver hidden pieces of information that lie latent within the data. Some examples of this type of analysis include an effective correlation process that allows us to predict IQS (or other survey) results based on warranty trends. In addition, we will frequently combine warranty analysis with customer and technician interviews to bring the data to life and make it even more useful.

We believe that information is useful only when everyone knows how to use it. We frequently find that engineers who are not directly involved with the data but are expected to use the data do not fully understand the information they have. Therefore, their ability is not optimized. To gain the most benefit from this information we have developed Warranty for Engineers. This course is designed to teach the end user the building blocks and intricacies of the warranty information.

This course is modified to target different groups including SPC technicians, product engineers, engineering managers and others. The intent is to provide each group with the tools they need to utilize the data most effectively.
